What do sealer protect?

Sealers are used to protect grout and the stone surface against staining and contamination. This enhances the life of the stone and gives you peace of mind against stone staining.

How many coats are required of sealant?

We recommend dip sealing the stone before installation. In case you are surface sealing the stone, at least 2 coats must be allowed.

How much time does the sealant takes to dry?

We recommend 24 hours after the final time to cure. Ideally, 48-72 hours should be given for a full cure. Also, remember after the first coat, an interval of 12 hours should be given, and the second coat should be applied than.

Can I buy the sealer alone from Stone Centre?

Yes, absolutely, you can buy the sealer alone, the pricing for the different sealers is mentioned on the website, you can directly put in the order.

Why is sealer important for natural stones?

Sealers are important for natural stones because they are porous and can absorb water, moisture and any other liquid spill, the surface can etch. Sealer provides a protective layer on the stone’s surface and enhances the longevity.
