We advise Sesame Grey Granite Cobblestones for driveways that are 30 mm thick. Driveways with thicker stones are more durable and have the superior load-bearing capability.

Cement is the best base for the front and backyard for Sesame Grey Cobblestone mesh. We recommend installing the mesh on a reinforced concrete slab of 120 mm thickness for driveways.

High footfall areas, like driveways paved with Sesame Grey Cobblestones, are durable and require little upkeep. The only maintenance required is the occasional physical removal of weeds and cleaning with a pressurised hose to remove dirt or grime.

Like other natural stones, Sesame Grey Cobblestones are prone to damage by moisture or dust. For the stone’s optimum maintenance and lifespan, we suggest sealing it during installation.

Cleaning cobblestones with vinegar is not advised. A garden hose is the ideal cleaning tool for them. A pail of water and some dish soap or degreaser can also scrub the surface.

Sesame Grey Cobblestones can become scratched by the powerful abrasive chemical bleach. We do not advise cleaning the stones with bleach. The finest cleaning method is to dampen the surface with warm water, non-acidic detergent, or mild soap.
