Yes, Granite is one of the strongest and most durable natural stones available today. It is resilient to weathering and is ideal for spaces with heavy traffic.
2. What’s the standard thickness of Granite Pavers and Tiles?
The standard thickness of a Granite tile is 20 mm. For pavers, the standard thickness is 30 mm. However, we can customise thickness (40mm/ 50 mm/60 mm/80 mm/90 mm) as per your project requirement.
3. Are stair treads available in Granite?
Yes, we have Granite staircase treads available. We have both bullnose and pencil-edge style stair treads.
4. Where are Granite pavers popularly used?
Granite being one of the toughest natural stones has high temperature and weather tolerance, making it a popular choice for pathways, driveways, walkways and patios.
5. What is the best way to clean and maintain Granite floors?
The best way to clean Granite flooring is by using mild dish soap and warm water. Alternatively, you can use a microfibre mop to clean the surface. Lastly, a pressure washer can be used for a deeper, more thorough cleaning to remove dirt and debris. We highly recommend resealing the stone once pressure washed.
6. Does Granite fade in the sun?
Definitely not! Granite Pavers and Tiles are known for their long-lasting properties, and if suitably maintained, can last up to 100 years. Although Granite is less porous, it is still a good idea to seal the tiles or pavers before installation to prevent water seepage into the pores and maintain the natural colour of the stone.
